Help - Add Front Page News

How to post news to the front page

A) Log in to the website with your username and password.

B) On the "User Menu", click the "Submit News" link

C) Fill in the form:
1. Type in a title.
2. Select "Latest News" in the category list.
3. Type the message in the "Intro Text" box.
4. At the bottom of the page, click the "Publishing Tab" and check the "Show on Front Page" box. 5. Push the "Save" icon (it looks like a floppy disk) at the top or bottom of the page.
You should get a message saying "Thanks for your submission. Your submission will now be reviewed before being posted to the site." Your post was saved in the system.

D) You're done. Go to the homepage to make sure your post is there. If you have any problems, call Mark Gray (home: 215-504-4613 mobile: 215-837-5673)

Bowl Day

Bowl Day has been postponed to Sunday August 23 due to the weather forecast.

Bowl Day 2009 will happen on Sunday August 23. This year the Indians are working to support the Northampton Miracle League. Come join the Northampton Indians for a day of football, cheerleading and fun and help a great cause! In addition to the great day of football, we will have a moon bounce, dunk tank, obstacle course and food off the grill. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Miracle League to help them provide opportunities for all children to play sports regardless of their ability. Learn more about the Miracle League below.

From 9 AM to 10 AM kids from the Woods School will visit to participate in a football clinic. The kids will do punt, pass and kick drills supervised by coach Lou Galasso's Jr Midget team and former Indian players. It should be a lot of fun!

Starting at 10 AM, every Northampton Indian football team will play a home game on one of our two fields. The fun activities will go on all day so bring the family and friends along! We will also have Northampton Indians logo gear for sale.

More on the Northampton Miracle League: Our local chapter is trying to build a sports field for special needs kids near Maureen M Welch elementary school and they need the communities' support. The Miracle League is trying to build a safe field for special needs kids to play baseball, soccer, football, lacrosse, etc. A portion of the proceeds from bowl day will be donated to the Miracle League so please come out!

Casino Night

Casino Night is Saturday November 7th.

Tickets are available through your Team Moms. Tickets are not being sold at the door, so make sure you get them in advance!!

• Tickets are $45 per person and available from team moms and the snack shack

Discounted tickets are available to pre-order through the Indians, and part of the proceeds go toward the Indians! Tickets are $21 for 2 attractions and $26 for all three! Last year was a SCREAM so come join us!
