We Need Shack Volunteers
We are in desperate need of some shack volunteers. We need a shack co-ordinator and 4 or 5 people to help run it during practice. The shack is a big part of the fundraising for our organization and helps offset the costs. If we don't get some volunteers to run the shack, we will not be able to open it this season.
Please remember that our whole organization is volunteers and your continuing support is what helps keep the wheels on. If you would like to volunteer for the shack, please contact me, find Dale, a coach, a board member) or stop by the shack.

It's that time already. Time to go see our friendly equipment manager George and pick up the gear. Please read all of the information below carefully, some things are different this year.
Here is what you need to bring (no exceptions):
- The player (they need to have their helmet and shoulder pads fit).
- A deposit check for $150 made out to the name of N.I.F.A dated for November 31, 2008. This will be returned to you when the equipment is returned.
ALSO If you have not already turned them in:
- The 2 page physical form signed by a doctor in 2008.
- A copy of the players final report card for the year. If you can't find it, the dog ate it or aliens attacked it, contact the school and get another copy.
There are no exceptions. All of this paperwork needs to be turned in before the players are allowed to pick up their equipment. This is a league rule. REMINDER: do not mail this information to the office. It will not get to the coaches in time and the player will not be allowed to pick up equipment.
The equipment pickups will be from 6PM to 8PM at the Northampton Township Rec Center (along the side near the tennis courts). A representative from the team (coach, team parent, etc.) must be present with the book to pick up equipment and verify all paperwork has been turned in, so please come on the assigned day. Here are the dates:
- 7/28 Jr Midget (130s)
- 7/29 Pee Wee (120s)
- 7/31 Jr Pee Wee (105s) Fleming UPDATED!
- TBA Jr Pee Wee (105s) Kranzel UPDATED!
- 8/1 Mighty Mite (90s)
- 8/4 Junior Mighty Mite (80s)
- 8/5 Tiny Mite (70s)
Any changes to the schedule will be posted here.
If you cannot make the pick up (or miss it for whatever reason). The first week of practice will not be hitting and the players can pick up their equipment then.
Flag Football
Flag football players do not need to pick up any equipment. Flag football will start up about 1 week after tackle.
If anyone has any questions, please contact me.
updates
7/30: Jr. Pee Wee pickups postponed - coaches will give a new date later.
7/31: Jr. Pee Wee Fleming pickups changed to 7/31. Jr. Pee Wee Kranzel TBA
